Meet the Providers
Amber Ihander, PA-C
I believe each individual deserves quality healthcare and strive to provide up-to-date medical care to the local community. I have worked at Siskiyou Community Health Center for seven years. I have enjoyed serving the community in addition to working in Grants Pass High School delivering medical care to the local school community.
I have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, and a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Saint Norbert College in De Pere, WI.
Outside of being a dedicated Packers fan, I love backpacking, traveling, and spending time with my husband and dog.
Shanna Pugh, PA-C
I believe health involves not only one’s physical health but also reflects one’s social situation, support, and mental well-being. I strive to understand all these aspects of life when caring for patients. Preventative healthcare is crucial in lifelong health.
My educational background includes a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. I have my Bachelor’s in General Science with an emphasis in Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology from the University of Oregon.
I have been practicing medicine since 2013, and have been part of the Siskiyou Community Health Center family since June 2017.
I enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, gardening, and spending time with my family.
