2022 GP Express arriving December 8

2022 GP Express arriving December 8

On the evening of Thursday, December 8, 2022, elementary schools throughout District 7 will be transformed for the 3rd annual GP Express.

Students, families, and community members are invited to visit 6 locations this year, to take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Participating school locations are listed below. Tune your radio to 96.5 FM to enjoy holiday music as you drive to each school, courtesy of Edgewater Christian Fellowship.

This is the third year Grants Pass School District 7 has put on a drive-through holiday light display. It began in 2020, as a way to bring the school community together while distance learning. The event was a huge success, with thousands of pounds of food donated to local non-profits. GP Express is being made possible once more, thanks to the work of staff, students, PTO/PTAs, volunteers, community partnerships, and generous donations.

Schools are collecting donations of non-perishable food to help families in our community. Donations will be distributed to local non-profits Maslow Project, United Community Action Network, and the Josephine County Food Bank. Canned goods, dry goods, and shelf-stable foods like peanut butter will all be accepted. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with our Grants Pass community. ALL ABOARD!
