Avid fan leaves large donation for GPHS basketball programs
The Grants Pass High School boys and girls basketball programs are getting a big boost thanks to a dedicated fan.
Grants Pass resident, William E. Engler left a $25,000 donation in his trust earmarked for the high school's basketball programs.
The Grants Pass High School athletic department says Mr. Engler was an "avid fan" who attended most of the school's basketball games. The high school hopes to use the generous donation to purchase something that will benefit the program and its students for many years to come.
