Reigning NWAPA Fall Champions 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022

We have two competitive seasons that run all year round!

Fall season is spent with the Marching Band, and tryouts are in April every year. After participating in the Boatnik Parade in May, the team spends the summer bonding and learning technique. In August, we begin learning our field show. During competition and football season, GPHS Dance & Guard travels regionally with the band to compete in the highest division in the circuit and performs at football games both in the stands and at halftime.

Winter season is spent indoors, where the team is split into a Varsity and JV team to maximize growth, both in numbers and in skill. Tryouts are in late November every year. Each team learns their competitive show, and we even bring in our middle school team to compete in 3 different divisions within our circuit. We perform at some basketball games, and have a showcase at the end of the year. We are so excited to return to a competitive Winter Season after two years!
